The Decorated Planner - Snowdrops - Joanna`s Planner
This week has been a bit manic, well a lot manic as far as social media has been concerned. Since my all singing all dancing internet connection has gone live I have been on a mission to have a go at all the things I have wanted to do with my blog. This weeks focus has been on filming my first tutorial.
What I thought would be relatively simple has turned in to a long job for which I currently require an IT savvy five year old.......
Consequently I have left clear space in my planner in the coming week for all my IT/Blog plans. It would be silly to actually fill them in as yet because everything is taking more time than anticipated. I do have a master to do list on my monthly spread and will transfer things across on a day by day basis.
This weeks spread features a digital image of a snowdrop based design from a company called POLKADOODLES. They have several images in this series but the snowdrop was such a clean design and appealed greatly to me. so, I thought it would be good to create this spread whilst I still have snowdrops in the garden before the daffodils come out.
The snowdrop image was coloured using alcohol markers on sticker paper, fussy cut and applied to a sponged base of blue and green ink. This week I used Adirondack inks for a change and found they were a lot less messy in application than the Stampin` up inks and the Distress inks I have used recently.
Functional stamps this week are from my favourite shops
and I am loving my new foxy set from Mommy Lhey
I even have a selection of foxy planner clips from Cherry Blossom in the Market Square.
I return to work this coming Monday after having four weeks off sick whilst receiving medical treatment. I know it is going to come hard but I am only allowed to be in the work place for 4 hours a day. So, hopefully that shouldn`t be too difficult but we will see...as long as I am fit enough to get a few things done.
Hope you all have a well planned week
