Planner Stamping - Jo Whight - The 'Sweet' Theme

This weeks spread utilises the 'Sweet' theme set by the the creative planning group.  Find them on Facebook here.  Yes, I know I am a week out of sync but who could resist the opportunity for the Harry Potter spread from last week?

This weeks main image is from Yampuff and can be downloaded from her gallery on Deviant Art.  It certainly was a fun image to colour.  For my planner I printed on sticker paper, coloured with alcohol markers, fussy cut and then applied to the pages.    The gum ball machine is a classic stamp from Lawn Fawn...it is such a versatile stamp. I have seen it used as a snow globe and a fish tank...all it takes is a little imagination.

I have continued the colour theme with the gum all machine so that both images work well with each other.  I have also used a mint green Washi from Lora Bailora to bring the whole thing together.

I have tried to co-ordinate my functional stamps by using tsukineiko 'brilliance' in pearl lavender and 'Versamagic' in turquoise.  I have still used my versafine black onyx too for images I have coloured.  I have used my fun new cat stamp from Sweet Stamp Shop, and a time flies stamp that was gifted to me by my friend Lindsay.  On this occasion I have adapted it to 'time to fly'.  If you have been reading my blog I have got a balloon trip booked.  Will this be be 9th time lucky....it has been cancelled so many times due to our very changeable weather here in the UK but I am keeping my fingers crossed for Thursday.

This weeks hydration stamp and my all time favourite Audrey 2 are from Tiny Stamps Big Plans.  Just in case you are curious Audrey 2 reminds me it is time to feed my sour dough lol.  If I were to re do this weeks functional stamps I would definitely place them a little differently but the space will definitely be used.

have a great week people
