April Fool

And so, what a mixed week....

I received my new release Studio L2E stamps and a stamping bella stamp that I ordered weeks ago...Happy.  On the down side, my mum is really unwell and was admitted to hospital early Friday morning...Sad.

My life has been turned upside down in the last week and my plans are alas, are no longer plans but possibilities.

I decided I wanted to focus on the first of April and to do a fool/harlequin/jester layout.  It was really hard to find something appropriate as there really is not much out there.  The image chosen was by an artist called Sureya who generously posts line art on Deviant Art.  I printed this image on to sticker paper and coloured with copic alcohol markers before fussy cutting.

The quote I found was quite fun...after stamping in the feature words the quote needed to be rearranged to suit my needs, and my duff spacing.
For the feature words I used a tiny alphabet stamp found in the craft shop for £1.20.....my apologies to Edgar Alan Poe for messing with his quote.

Other decorative stamps were from Lawn Fawn and Sweet Stamp Shop.

Planner stamps this time featured the new release studio L2E stamps, Technique Tuesday....love the work/day off stamps and Tiny Stamps Big Plans.

As the feature image is so brightly coloured I decided to stick with bright colours and to use the colours of the rainbow on the daily plans.  This has worked really well but I think it was spoilt a little by stamping the boxes in black.  I added the coloured headers to try and soften the look a little.

All I have to do now is plan
